[solved]displaydetail color and imagecategoriessize trouble

hello,i'm working withjoomla 1.5 and a beez template.
i used the following code,

imagecategoriessize have no effect on the layout. Shadows remain behind the thumbnail image
the other thing is that the font color i choose is not applied
it remain the default color #b36b00

the third trouble i encounter is that the displaydetailvariable as no effect if i turn from 1 to 4 the icon-view desapear but the slide show remain the default template and do not switch to highslide js view.
i saw that i can change the layout editing the phocagalery.php but i don't know the way to force the change for the displaydetail variable
do those trouble come from syntax error in typing the code above?

I was quite mixed up . Displaydetail is for displaying detail and not for the choice of the slideshow . and imagecategoriessize came for the categorIE not for categorY...
. i corrupted the original php file while trying to supress shadows behind the thumbnail and then every things went wrong.
whatever, once the original file restaured from the zip . every things works perfectly well.
