I did the following:
Installed phoca component 1.2.0B (latest)
Installed phoca plugin 1.1.3 (latest)
enabled it.
made a catagorie (kerst 2007 but not important)
added foto's
Everything is enabled.

I added the line [phocagallery view=categories]
[ must of course be { (but want to prevent some problems)

Kerst is shown, when I click on it, it will go to the frontpage of my site.
I changed it to:
[phocagallery view=category|categoryid=1]
and nothing is shown
How can I solve this?

do you have enabled SEF? If yes, please disable it. There are still problems with SEF in Joomla... and URL creating in Joomla is still changing...

if I do this and SEF is turned of:
[phocagallery view=category|categoryid=1]
it still does not work.
if I do this
[phocagallery view=categories]
it wil work now.

Just checked and the plugin in not 1.1.13 but 1.2

Maybe, you have no category with id = 1 ???

Mr. Jan, you are a whise man.
I thought the the number under # was the ID, but complete on the rights site there is a label called ID, so maybe you are right and is ID just the number under ID and not under #.
Stupped me.

Now it works fine.
