Kategorienansicht - category view

Hallo Forum,

in meiner Kategorieansicht bekomme ich meine drei Kategorien immer untereinander angezeigt.
Links ein Thumbnail - der Titel erscheint rechts daneben.
In der "Kategorienansicht - Einstellungen Kategorienliste" habe ich schon andere Einstellungen versucht, aber ohne Erfolg.
Ich möchte die drei Kategorien gerne NEBENEINANDER angezeigt haben. Wer kann helfen?

Hello forum,

my category views always displays my three categories one below the other.
On the left side there is the thumbnail - on the right the title.
Allthough I made changes in the "category view", nothing changes in the frontend view.
I would like to have my three categories SIDE BY SIDE in ONE LINE. Who can help?

Ich habe folgendes dort eingetragen:

Kategorienansicht - Einstellungen Kategorienliste
Anzahl Spalten: --> 3 (!!!)

Die Kategorien sollten demnach in einer Zeile abgebildet werden, oder?
Werden sie aber nicht.
Was mache ich falsch? Irgendeine Idee?

Nebeher gefragt: Wie bekomme ich die Kategorie-Titel UNTER das Mini-Bild?

I typed in the following:

Categories View Setttings (Category List)
Number of Columns (Categories view): --> 3 (!!!)

So the categories should be displayed in one line, shouln't they?
But they are not displayes like that.

What's wrong? Any idea?

By the way: How do I get the category title BELOW the thumbnail?

category bellow the image - you should change the html/php code, adding

Code: Select all

<br />

into:
components\com_phocagallery\views\categories\tmpl\default.php

Did you change it in Parameters Component:

but I don't find the place to put in the line break <br /> in oder to get it like I want it.

And sorry - I don't either find the place, where to change the collumn number in order to get my three columns side by side .

Phoca Gallery --> Gallery --> Configuration --> Categories View Settings (Category List) ?

Here i put in "3" at "Number of Columns".

Is this false?

why isnt it possible to change the columns from one to x???
there is no way to get this to be done.

Are you talking about the Phoca gallery (with menu-items), or are you talking about the Phoca gallery plugin?

For the Phoca Gallery it is possible:
See the user-manual: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/2-phoca-g ... -menu-item

go to Menu --> Menu-item with the gallery --> Component Parameters.

There is a parameter called 'Number of Columns (Categories view)' and you can set the number of columns.

For the category view (when you see the thumbs) you can set the width of the box (and with a calculation you can set the number of columns). This setting is: 'Phocagallery width'


And for the plugin you can ask whether or not it is possible (or can be made possible)

I hope this makes things clear.

Hello, I love the gallery, but do not understand, Phoca Gallery Plugin may display category in 2 columns or not?

Hi,

the Phoca Gallery plugin (so the thingy that displays your pictures in an article) doesn't display the categories view in multiple columns.

The Phoca Gallery component does display the categories in multiple columns.
