How do I download from backend?

I urgently need to be able to download selected files (individually) from the backend but can't see how to do this. What am I missing?

Hi,
there is no download function in Phoca Documentation. Use an File Management Component like e.g. eXtplorer or joomlaXplorer.

This enquiry was prompted by the fact that the front end only shows (displays) for download only the last 20 files that have been uploaded. How do I change the settings/code to enable more to be seen?

are you really sure, you're talking about Phoca Documentation Component and not about Phoca Download Component??
If you mean Phoca Download Component which version are you using?

Phoca Download it is! How did I do that!

Does this mean that there is a download from backend in Phoca Download or do I somehow extend the display ain the front end as per my last post? (URL: http://www.internetm8.com/fc/ - I can provide backoffice access if you want?)

ok, now I can see you are using Phoca Download for joomla 1.5

You can only see the last 20 files, because you didn't show the pagination or you should enlarge Pagination Default Value.

1. Show pagination:
backend --> Menus --> Your Menu with Link to Phoca Download Component --> Your Link to Phoca Download Component --> Menu Item: [ Edit ] --> Parameters (Basic) -->
Pagination=Show
Display Select=(as you like)
Save your settings!

2. enlarge Pagination Default Value:
backend --> Components --> Phoca Download Component --> Phoca Download Control Panel --> Parameters --> Global Configuration --> General Settings -->
Pagination Default Value=(as you and the resorces of you server like)e.g.100
Save your settings!
