public download link

hello.
first of all, this is my favorite component for Joomla. !
hm here we go.

i have a picture section on my homepage where i want the registered user to download my pictures, but i want the public to only see the gallery, so they would be interested to register to download.

Public views -> see gallery, but cant download.
Registered users -> see and download.

the only thing i can do is to restrict public access to this category...

2. question, and i really want to know how to remove them "display num" function.

please help me

2. the display num is a part of joomla framework (pagination), you can remove it in parameters basic (parameters ot the menu link to gallery) - display pagination

1. hi there is no download behaviour, only displaying of download link (this will display the full image), but this link is not displayed, if user have no access to the category...

#1. yes i know, but if i dont give the public access to my gallery they have to login first before they even can see the thumbnails. it was meant to the public can see the pictures in that category but they wont see the little download link, before they create a profile and login.. ths is not possible in any ways?

no, there is no such behaviour... if you display the thumbnail, then it is not difficult to find the original image to download, so this doesn't have sense...
