Sorry for annoying You with a question that I look appears sometimes in this forum but I'm not able to find a solution. First of all thans for creating this nice component.
Also, I installed Phoca Gallery 1.8.8 beta and phoca menu module on Joomla 1.5.4, creating Galleries, uploading pictures and all works fine with Firefox 3 (that the reason for thanks)...
Take a look at: http://www.zorzini.it/butticeceramiche
Phoca Gallery will be called from left usermenu (phocamenu module)...please test it
If I use IE7 when I try to access pictures from phoca menu sometimes but not everytime I receive the error:
Unable to open web site with the link and "Operation finished" (sorry for transaltion but the original is in italian language); if I push the Ok button somtimes a blank page appears and somtimes the caatergory is displayed...randomly the thumbanails are displayed correctly;
I try with default joomla template but the problem is present. This I test on various pc's.
I removed all the unnecessary components, modules, plugins and themes
I look on all forum but not find a definitely solution.
I like phoca gallery and I will use it but for me is not possible to ask my visitors to use Firefox.
Thanks for your help... a lot of great beer cups are ready for your suggestion or attention only...

Re: IE7 thumbnail displayng error
Hi, for information:
This is the IE bug which occures in IE5, IE6, IE7 (this bug is ignored in 3 versions)... Because of this bug (more extensions using some javascript e.g. modal box) I didn't publish min. 3 extensions ...
see e.g.

Re: IE7 thumbnail displayng error
Dear Alls,
thanks for your help.
I read the suggested links but finally I'm a little bit confused.
Could You please inform me about the code to include and in which file/s in order to fix the problem?
In a few days I should expose at my customer this site with phoca gallery inside via IE7.
In any case thanks again...and compliments for phoca software.

Re: IE7 thumbnail displayng error
Hi Eddi,
A temporary solution might be to display the site without the phoca menu module (or switch to the tree module - I didn't check out your site, so I don't know if it's possible).
The component works without any problems in IE.

Re: IE7 thumbnail displayng error
Thanks' Carolean and Jan for Your help...
This evening I will try with tree module...
It seems could be a problem in thumbnails display but the strange is that somtimes dont happend (always in IE7)...I try to explain me: time by time the thumbnails are displayed and all is ok but somtimes no (only the category appears) or comes the IE7 blank page...Seems to me that if the thumbnails page will be loaded in a long time (example with slow-analog connection) the page is correctly displayed...
Also is a method to load the thumbnail page a little bit too slow?
All correct with Firefox 3.
I live in Sicily also the problem could be caused by the very hot sun we have here ? No rain at all from April.
If You have other suggestions, please inform me...

Re: IE7 thumbnail displayng error
I suggest using tree module too. Fo me it isn't solution, because I can't make the div it's in wide enough In IE that div drops down under the main div.

Re: IE7 thumbnail displayng error (Jan attention)
...but now I have a doubt: why your website
https://www.phoca.cz/phocagallery/demo/
I see via IE7 without any error ? I use vertical and horizontal menu...
The only difference could be the template but, as per my previous message, I change my template with the default included in joomla 1.5 and the error is present.
Very very very strange...
Could You please send me via email Your template? (10 billion euro/dollar request obviously).
Thanks for your attention
