Hi Jan,
I used now de english version of Phoca Galery for loomla 1.6. Is this soon in Dutch availabale...

unfortunately there is no Dutch translation for Phoca Gallery for Joomla v1.6, but you are strongly invited to create it yourself and share it with us.

Ok.
1.) Download Phoca Gallery here:
http://joomlacode.org/gf/download/frsre ... v3.0.0.zip
2.) unzip this file local on your pc
3.) you will find the folder language which contains two files:
- en-GB.com_phocagallery.ini
en-GB.com_phocagallery.sys.ini
4.) make a copy of this files and rename them to:
- nl-NL.com_phocagallery.ini
nl-NL.com_phocagallery.sys.ini
5.) Open this two files with a text editor like e.g. WordPad and translate the right part into dutch.
example:

COM_PHOCAGALLERY_LARGE="groot"
COM_PHOCAGALLERY_ENABLE="in staat stellen"
COM_PHOCAGALLERY_DISABLE="uit te schakelen"
Pardon me, this is translated by Google.
Important is the " sign at the beginning and at the end of each row of your translation!!!
6.) Save you translation as UTF-code
7.) If you have done the translation you can create a XML-install file, but you're not forced to do this.
Because you can install your language files manually too.
simply copy this two files to:
- /language/nl-NL/
/administrator/language/nl-NL/
8.) If you like to share your translation, zip your files and name the zip file:
- nl-NL.com_phocagallery-j16.zip
and send it as an email attachment to Jan.

When i want to test him, i uploaded the two files but Gallery is still english. Must i delete the english version?

No, you have to choose dutch as default language vor Site and Administrator in Joomla! Language Manager to see your translation.
If not, see: 4.) Did you rename the files?
