I am very new to Joomla and Phoca - therefore feel like I have been thrown in the deep end!!

I believe I have installed Phoca (I can see the Phoca Download Control Panel under components)
I have also installed the plug in (I can see it in the plug in manager)

I have enabled the plug in manager and created a category and section in the Phoca Download Control Panel.

What next ??

I want to upload some software for customers to be able to download, store on their PC and then install if required.

When I try to add a file from the Phoca Download Control Panel i get the errors

JFolder::create: Could not create directory
Warning: Failed to move file!
Error. Unable to upload file
JFolder::files: Path is not a folder
JFolder::folder: Path is not a folder

Hi, you should check permissions and ownership of files and folders on your server, or try to enable/disable ftp layer

Files can be added in administration - uploaded (with phoca download, or media manager or ftp, ...) and then they are added to system - after creation of category and section, just to to File edit and add there a file, then create a menu link to Phoca Download:
