"Error saving filename" on front end upload

Hello Jan & everyone
I'm struggling to enable users to upload photos. I've given upload and add, and delete and publish user rights to one person and created a file in Phocagallery "yourpictures". However, they get the above message. The image does appear in the yourpictures folder but nothing shows up on the gallery.
Any suggestions?

Hi, did you change the parameters in Parameter component:

See if you have enabled the ftp layer, if permissions are Ok (e.g. folder tmp), if ownership of folders and files are ok...
