Was able to install quite a few fonts - can't access them

Hi:

I'm using a Joomla 1.5.22 template for my site, and the only other plug in I have is extplorer. I managed to (I thought) upload PhocaFonts, because I hate the standard fonts, and had transferred them all over to .eot. So....I got them all uploaded, and when I browse Extplorer/components, they show up there. However, I have never seen this particular plugin 'available' to enable under plugin manager, even though I can see it on Extplorer. In addition, when I add an article, I see the same sorry fonts that came with the program, verdana, times New Roman, which are all rubbish. What will make my new article creator able to access the 20-odd fonts I installed that are showing up under Extplorer - even though I have no indication the plugin is actually installed????? (even though explorer says, com_phocafont....so I'm confused Unlike others, I had no problem uploading various fonts after converting them to eot. Five at a time even!

Please, does anybody else have this problem or a solution? I spent hours on this today. Exhausted.

Erika (Ahoj)

Okay now I feel like an idiot I have a degree in literature, so please excuse me. it looks like there is a difference between Phocafont component and Phocafont plugin? I do not have the plugin but I appear to have the component. However, the issue is the same, I cannot get a list of the uploaded fonts to drop down on the menu when I write a new article. That is the key for me. I hate the stuff that is standard.

Thanks,

Erika

Have installed and enabled the plugin. Still no dropdown option for the fonts I uploaded anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Phoca Font component - here you can manage fonts
Phoca Font plugin - if it runs it converts the fonts on the site

Settings:

You have some fonts installed on your system, now you need to set which styles (tags, class, ids) in html will by styled by Phoca font, such you can set in Parameter - then the set styles will have new fonts.
