Hi,
1. install Phoca Gallery Componente
2. Create a category
3. Load up some pictues and create thumbnails
4. choose this category in:
backend --> Extensions --> Template Manager --> Template Manager: Styles --> Phoca_Bild - Default --> Background Slideshow Settings
Kind regards,
Benno

Hi , thanks for your answer,
My problem is a bit different: I have the phoca_bild theme, and i only want to change the bg images.
Do i have to download the Phoca Gallery 3.0.0.RC?
Ok i've done
using the pocha gallery, didn't know that.
I have another question, it's possibile to have different categories in the bg slideshow for different pages? (one for home, one for the others)

First of all you should check:
backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Phoca Gallery Control Panel --> Options --> Main --> Thumbnail Generation Settings -->
Enable Thumbnails Generation=Yes
Crop Thumbnails=None
JPEG Quality=85(or >)
backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Phoca Gallery Control Panel --> Options --> Main --> Images And Detail Window Size Settings -->
Large Image Width=(eg.)1600
Large Image Height=(eg.)1200
Save & Close
I just checked this with some HD-res images (1920x1080pix) without problems...
Kind regards,
Benno
