I have turned on the Details Button when I click on the button it tells me the following

0-10-07 Ordinance
File
You have no rights to access this category

Also is it possible to put some type of description of a document without having to download it first. We are using this to give the public access to city ordinances

Hi, can I see the site where this occurs to see what you exactly means?

If you mean the info in modal box, you need to eanble in parameters, that file view can be displayed on your site (common file view, or file view in modal box only - if we are speaking about version 2.1.1)

- Joomla 1.7.0
- Phoca download 2.1.1
I have configured one menu to Phoca Download File View
Acces: Public

The category has an Access: Public
In the Access rights I have 3 possibilities:
- all registered users
- nobody
- superuser
==> No all users? How do I set it up for the general public?

The file (in this category) has Access : Public

If I use the the List of files I can see and access all the files but with the direct menu I always get "You have no rights to access this category"
