How to add url in category description?

Hello!
Is it possible to add url in category and subcategory description?
For example, user create category and would like show his site url in description: "For more information please visit our Site http://example.com"

I tried write http:/ /example.com,
[*url]http://example.com[*/url] (with out *) ,
<a href="example.com">http://wooden-pools.com</a>

but with out results.

Is some way how to do this?
