com_phocagallery component install errors

I've searched the forum for install errors and install issues and found nothing so I am posting my issue here. Downloaded the component zip file, go to Installers, Components and browse to the com_phocagallery...zip and click the Install button. I get the following errors stating that the component cannot be installed:

Upload component - Upload Failed
ERROR: Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package.
[ Continue ... ]
Upload component - Failed
Installation file not found:
/home/content/n/b/p/nbpassion/html/media/install_48a843798c819/
[ Continue ... ]


Running Joomla 1.0.15 Stable.

What should I try now?

I've installed many components in Joomla as well as modules, the error states that it can't find the xml file required to install. I've also tried installing it from a folder on the server itself and both yield the same results. I am using Joomla 1.0.15 Stable and followed the installation steps to the letter. Others have installed it obviously, so what's missing or what could I look at to try and solve this issue. I think this component will really help with what I am trying to accomplish on a site I am working on.

Hi,

the component is made for Joomla!1.5.x. So it is not for J!1.0.x

Solution: upgrade to Joomla!1.5.6
