Display play/pause/prev/next buttons in slideshow plugin?

Hi,

Thanks for a great component! Quick question - is there a way to display play/pause/previous/next links or icons when using the gallery plugin?

My client wants users to click on a category and then have a slideshow launch right away (instead of a page displaying thumbnails.) I figured I would create an article for each category and use the gallery plugin to automatically play a slideshow. It's perfect, with the exception of the missing buttons...

If this isn't possible, is there another way to display a slideshow automatically when someone clicks on a category? In the component's Options area, I see a section called "Slideshow Settings" but I can't figure out what it's for. Above it, there are already settings for the various popup/modal slideshows (Jak Lightbox slideshow, Highslide JS slideshow etc.) This is making me wonder if there's another way of displaying a slideshow without a user having to click on an image first...?

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Chris

Yes, detail button is rendered by component. but it works clicking on image thumbnail, not on category link.

Clicking on category button to display the slideshow needs to be customized in the code.

Hi Jan,

Thanks for getting back to me. Just to confirm - is there no way to display previous/next/play/pause buttons when using the Slideshow Plugin inside an article?

Thanks,
Chris
