Can't upload HTML files

Post by kraymitchell »

I have added HTML files to the allowed files that can be uploaded, but every time I try and upload an HTML file I get this error:

Code: Select all

Possible IE XSS Attack found.
These are BASIC HTML files, and I mean REAL basic, they are for a beginner HTML course I teach and only have basic XHTML elements, a list and a few paragraphs.

How can I get around this??

Hi, the protection was copied from core Joomla! so it checks the tags for possible problems. Do you get the problem when this file is ZIPped?

It works OK when zipped, however, my students are not bright enough to follow directions to unzip the file and move it where it needs to be. I had no issues uploading HTML files with RokDownloads, and it worked great. Too bad the software was terrible.

How can I override this.
