PhocaPDF + Joomla 1.7.2 = no PDF Icon & J! icons disabled

HI there,

config:
* plg_phocapdf_content_v2.0.3.zip
* com_phocapdf_v2.0.1.zip
* de-DE.com_phocapdf.j17.zip
* de-DE.plg_system_phocapdfcontent.zip
* Joomla 1.7.2
* Template: JSN Dome Pro j1.7_2.2.3
* Plug-In activated
* PHP5

What I did:
Read documentation and followed each step.
Opened Plug-Settings and "saved".

Problem 1: There is no PDF-Icon
Problem 2: Joomla's Print and eMail-Buttons (toolbar) don't work anymore. There are visible, but clicks won't work

Am I doing anything wrong? If not: What's wrong?

:-)
Martin.

Well, today the original Joomla Toolbar Icons work again (print + email).

But, there is still no (Phoca)PDF-Icon... :-(

I have the same Problem, and I'm now looking since a few days for a solution. For the email and printer-symbol, there is a switch in Joomla, but I don't find anything else for the pdf-button!?

Hi,

Sorry for opening this again, but the answer on your website regarding 1.6, 1.7 and 2.5 for modifying is incorrect when using yootheme 1.7 templates.

When i look into the code from the 1.5 templates you had right, but joomla had modified his templates for the 1.7-2.5 version.

I could send you the files regarding that for you to see what is different, because we had upgraded to J2.5 and pdf stopped working, also after a new reinstall of phocapdf.
It works correct when i switch to a standard template, but not when using yootheme templates. :x

Hi, check if yootheme does not override the article files, if yes, you need to modify the override files:
This is Joomla! 2.5 guide:
https://www.phoca.cz/documents/47-phoca- ... -and-usage

for standard situation, if template override the output, of course modification should be done in template and of course the template code will be not the same like article.
