PHOCA GALLERY 2.0.0.

Post by Walter »

Hi...
I'm testing your work.
I have some questions?

1) How can I active the comment and ranking system?

2) Does an user create a new folder?

3) I have many many folders of pictures... and I have a big big list in home of PHOCA GALLERY.
Is it possible to change the first page?

Thank you
Walter

Hi

1) In Parameters Component - in menu link
2) Yes, if he creates a category in frontend (he can add only one category in root), on folder for this user's category will be created
3) you can change in parameters:
- number of columns
- displaying categories with or without images
- displaying empty categories or not
- displaying subcategories or not, ...

Sorry Jan,

1) OK THANKS

2) So, I have to create a main folder. The users can upload the image into the folder that I created before.
Then I have to change the directory of the photo if it isn't the right folder to upload.

3) I have setted 3 columns but I see only one
(http://www.dajeroma.com/index.php?optio ... &Itemid=73) it's my website on test...

I would like to ask another question, please...
Is it the possible to have a moderation system?
For example to approve the image, or sending an email when an user uploads an image. Is it possible?

Thanks for your work

2)
- you can create a category where you can add user rights for some user and set a folder for him or
- or you can create a link to user control panel where user can create a category (if he creates one, the folder for him will be automaticall created in images/phocagallery folder

3) did you change the columns in parameters component in menu link ?

there is no moderation system yet :(

Now I should have 3 columns... but it isn't.

Do you think it's possible to add a moderation system? Maybe for next release

thanks

columns: try to change the template (only for testing), maybe there is some problem with float boxes

moderation system: added into a feature request list...

it the columns are set in menu link to gallery (in menu manager - parameters component) and it doesn't work e.g. with some fluid template where e.g. two columns can be passed, then I don't habe any idea what can be wrong (if some problem with float box there is, then it should be solved by some other template ... ???)

Jan, I have the same problem, photos are put on a single column
I use joomlart teline II on J156, and switched over to purity and milky way, but the problem persists...

sorry, it was my fault!
It was actually Phoca Gallery Width set to 0 on component preferences!
A Waltere, check it up!
strangely enough didn't work neither setting columns to 3 on menu link parameters, nor on comp preferences...

PS for Walter
