Downloads counter doesn't work

Hi, folk. I have a file located in the external sever. When you download it the download count doesn't change. In the file parametrs Direct link is set to No. What is the cause, can anybody help me?

Hi, did you set in parameters of the file that it should not be direct link?
See description of "External Link" parameter in file edit, where this is explained.

Yes, in the parameters of file Direct Link is set to "No"

Hmm, testing now and get no such problem
- get standard counting
