Phoca file preview doesn't works with html file

I need to display some articles with phoca, i was trying do it with documents in pdf but i need a browser plugin i can't use it.
Then i am trying put file for preview in html and files to dwonload in pdf, but when i put the file to preview in html the button preview disappear, but if i put pdf in file to preview the button preview appear again, i tried with xml, html but doesn't work, in the Allowed File Type exist html.xml.. and pdf in parameters is enabled display file view... helpme please... or how can i display pdf wihtout a browser plugin?

Maybe you could make a screenshot of the first page and use this image as preview?

I don't understand you... why phoca download can't show the html file, doesn't make sense, should be do it.

Why displaying an article in html with Phoca Download? Joomla itself could do that! This make no sense to me! Phoca Download is a component to manage and display downloads! Anyway! Maybe you could use the Mirror Link area on the right side of the backend "New" file dialog to add a custom link to any link you want. This link would be opened ether in the same or in a new window.
