I have installed Phoca Download Plugin, but does not work, check out the picture:



When I choose the file to download is what happens in the following image:

I found the problem.

Phoca Download not working with User Friendly URL's on.

Anybody have the solution?

Which version of Joomla and Phoca Download are you using? And do you use any SEF extensions?

No, I don't use any SEF extensions.

The version of joomla is 1.7.4, Phoca Download is 2.1.4

Just in the global configuration --> Seo Settings - see the image:

Hmm, I am not sure but maybe the problem is caused by not publishing the component anywhere (as menu!)!

[edit]Ok I have tested it and yes: Not publishing the component is causing this problem. But I am not sure if this is a Joomla problem or a Phoca Download one[/edit]
