Phoca-t top menu in multiple viewers

I have just recently started working with the Joomla environment and the Phoca-T template, however I have a bit of a problem.

I would like to adjust the Top Menu to fit exactly between a logo and the Phoca Slideshow.... and I have done so (via the css).

It looks great in both firefox and IE... but when you load the page in Chrome, it is way off the mark...it is actually appearing behind the slideshow, and thus is only visible for a very short time when loading the page.

any suggestions, or do I just tell people not to use chrome???

Hi, really no idea, because don't know your modifciations, testing the default T template - without any problem in Chrome
