How does USER delete a file - Version 2.1.5

I have read the forums but can't seem to find the answer.

I just did a fresh install of joomla 2.5 and a new install of download 2.1.5 (nice program so far)

I see that you can delete files from the FRONT END. But how do you do this I have allowed in the Category Delete Rights - ALL REGISTERED USERS to be able to delete files but can't find a way to do this..

I can just get them to upload files.. that works but really would like the option to delete

Thanks

RIck

Hi Jan,

I have the same question as lighthouseweb...
I am using your component to make a kind of "dropbox" for the users,
so I would like that users can delete their files from the Front End.

I have chosen "yes" in "Delete Existing Files" and I have a bouton "delete" in the frontend,
but when I try to delete, the file is deleted in the database, but not in the FTP...

Do you know what I should do in order that the user delete the file both in the database and the FTP folder?

Thanks,
Hugues

Thanks for this quick response.

I didn't find the place where I can set that the file will be deleted from filesystem too,
where can I do this?
