Hi, in most cases, you have JPG, PNG or GIF image. You upload this image (you don't care about the size of the image) into the /images/phocafavicon/ folder. And Phoca Favicon component makes with only one click:

- resizing the image to 16 x 16
- creating ICO from most used formats: JPG, PNG or GIF
- moving the ICO file into the template folder and displaying it in browser...

The idea is all will be automatically made from most used formats (if you have an ICO format, you can copy it to template folder and you need not to use Phoca Favicon component)

Are there any plans to support transparency in the original image as that would be really useful? Thanks for the component.
