Adding a table with background image

Hi,
i need to add a table with background image (coupon image) to the generated pdf file and then fill up some data from virtuemart.
I guess there is no problem with data since all the fields are already exists in the plugin. There is a problem with table background. It is not displayed. If I add regular image, it shows fine.
Any ideas?

Hi, as written here:

PDF is not like HTML, so not sure, but TCPDF class is not able to produce bakcground image for table, I think, maybe for whole site, but this needs to be customized
