Is it possible to run two completely separate phoca galleries on 1 1.7 Joomla site.

I need to run 1 set of cats for public and 1 set private and not mix them up

hi redrobin,
it's not possible to install phoca gallery twice in one site, but you could try the following:
create two top level categories, the public one and the private one, and build your galleries within these. link your menu items to the two categories and don't display back link to categories view (in category views).

I am running two galleries on the same page using two different categories, one being a sub-category of the other. However, the second gallery does not run. The image shows in the lightbox but there are no gallery facilities to move from one image to the next.

I have tried converting the Phoca sub-category to a main category but it doesn't make nay difference.

Any ideas?

David

titsey-webmaster,
could you post (or pm me) the link to your site so I can have a look?
which pg version and detail method are you using? does the problem occur with a joomla standard template?

as a first step, could you please try a standard joomla template and see if the problem still occurs?
