Phoca Download asks user to login eventhough file is Public

I have version 1.3.9 installed and have published a couple of files. The problem I have is that a file download (inserted with the download plugin) will always trigger a "login Form" even if the category/section/file is set to public.
What am I doing wrong ?
I need to have the ability for a user to download a file without having to log in .
Thanks !

Hi,
I'm having the same problem.
I'm using PhocaDownload 1.3.6. on J1.5.
I can't figure out what is wrong and I'm pretty sure that it worked in the past.
Here you can see that the Menu Link, Section, Categories and Files are set to Public.

Any update about this.
I made a new section, category and a new file with ID 350 and then used the following in a article:
{phocadownload view=file|id=350}
And this also shows me a login page and asks to login first.
By the way, I updraded now to 1.3.9 to see if it would solve it autimatically but it doesn't.
I'm really stuck with this problem.
Regards

Hi, hmmm, really no idea what might be the problem there?
Testing here:
https://www.phoca.cz/demo/phoca-download-plugin
with latest Phoca Download - and seems like no problem there?
