Hi,

I have a category with access level set to "Public". in that category I have created a file also with the access level set to "Public". Using the plugin {phocadownload view=category|id=18} or {phocadownload view=file|id=67} in an article users are nevertheless challenged to log in.

Any idea what might cause this behaviour?

Hi, Phoca Download plugin is independent to Phoca Download component, if you force displaying the file, it will be displayed but of course will be not download, because - the link goes to component.
