Download section not visible

I installed sucessfully the most recent version yesterday and followed all instructions. Everything went smooth. Then I created 3 categories and uploaded 3 documents, everything fine.

But I can´t make the section appear on the website, whatever I try. I added a Category/file view in menu and just nothing appears (see http://www.caminho-da-luz.com/index.php ... Itemid=141).

I also tried code within article to call the download section there, again nothing appeared.

Can anybody help?

PHP errors ARE enabled by the provider and I activated the Joomla debug mechanism. Its showing a huge debug protocol on buttom of above page but I do not understand it...

Joomla 2.5.4
PHP 5.2.x

you need to create a menu item to Phoca Download Component "List Of Categories (Categories View)"

it is already such a menu item.
the menu is in the left column, it is called "Bilder und Downloads".

i have moved from 1.5 to 2.5, following the tutorial from your website.
it worked fine with the gallery.
the download-files are also shown in the backend with correct categories etc.
but not on the website.

versuch mal den Link zur Komponente nocheinmal abzuspeichern und falls das nicht hilft, einen neuen anzulegen und den alten zu löschen.
Im Topmenü Deiner Seite ist noch ein Download Link der beim Draufklicken einen Error 500 ausgibt??

ich glaub, ich habs gleich gelöst, es hängt mit den parent-kategorien zusammen...

es waren nicht die parent-kategorien, ich musste einfach nur auf jede kategorie gehen und sie unverändert speichern.
