Hi there. I am working on a new website and I am not using Phoca Maps the first time.

On all my sites it´s working great, but this time I have a problem...

Working Link: http://www.wp1181827.wp289.webpack.host ... hrt-bremen

In content only the code is visible, but the map does not display.

Joomla: 2.5.0 stable
Phoca Maps: 2.0.5
Maps Plugin : 2.0.5
Template: SJ News from Smartaddons.com

Plugin is aktivated, a map with ID1 and a Marker is created and published and working, when starting from a menü button.

Using the code in a content, it´s not working...I have no idea why...Could you please help me?

When you need an admin account for my site, that you be no problem... :|

Thankz in advance!

Hi, I see 404 there, do you get the same result in case, you switch to another standard template (to test it)

Ups sorry Jan... here is a correct link...

http://www.wp1181827.wp289.webpack.host ... de/joomla/

Klick "Kontakt", "Anfahrt", and "Anfahrt Bremen" or "Anfahrt Bremerhaven" for a content with map.

When I switch to another Template, I can see the big grey frame, where the map should be inside, but it´s empty and grey.

The route planning fields a displayed correctly...

Something seems to block tho correct display, but I don´t find what...

{phocamaps view=map|id=1} .. this means, the plugin is not installed or not published or it is not inside content, see:

Dear Jan,

thank you for your help. I am really sorry to ask again...but I don´t know where (in what description??) to add what code??

The Plugin is definitely installed and published, using standard settings...

Only the content does not recognize it..ok, we can workaround with a code, when I get it right...but what code do I have to put exactly where? In the content category description?

Best regards

Andreas

Hi all,
I had the same problem only just. I've tried everything, something to solve it but it was elementary.
Try to turn off the marker and see whether your Phoca maps?
If yes - then fix the name of the marker - it can contain quotes.

Thank you for your work!

Hi!

I just joined the forum because of the same problem.
I just rebuild my website with Joomla 2.5 and the new Phoca Maps component.
The plugin code {phocamaps view=map|id=1} is not rendered by Joomla in a normal article.

I'm running Joomla 2.5.4 with Template JYAML 4.0.2. (based on YAML CSS framework).
Also I have no Java Script or network errors on console and no markers in the map.

I never had problems with old YAML on old 1.5 Joomla and Phoca Plugins.
Maybe a problem of the latest Joomla release?

Greetz from Germany,

Manuel

Yes, it is a normal joomla article. See here:

http://www.wp1181827.wp289.webpack.host ... hrt-bremen

The menu above ist starting the article "Anfahrt Bremen". In this article is the code, Text and a picture.

Plugin is active and published, I have 2 published Cards, ID1 and ID2, and 1 published marker in each card.

I can´t locate the problem and really need help....

Hmmm, really no idea there, the code is not displayed only in case:

- plugin is not installed
- plugin is not published
- it is not inside com_content

There is no error - as the code is displayed, so really no idea what other than listed three reasons it can be? :-(
