problems during installation and follow on

Hello phoca-team,

during installation of phocadownload 2.1.6 I got errors, that 3 directories couldn't be created. I created the pathes manually, and a new installation seemed to work fine (without any error-message). But creating categories and uploading files don't work. When I upload files with an "external" ftp app, all works fine.

Did I anythin wrong ? Do I have to change any settings ?

Hi, seems like you have problems with ownership or permissions of files and folders on your server - Try to check it, try to enable/disable FTP layer in your Joomla! etc. See similar posts in this forum.
