Error 404 - Categorys & Single Download

Hello together.
I´m supposed to finish a Joomla-Site constructed by a Designer that died unfortunately.
I hope someone can help me, because i slowly run out of time.
Normaly I´m working with typo3, so I have serious trouble with this system.
I managed to fix most of the open issues, although i had some rage-attacks ^^
The last point to fix is the phoca-download. I didn´t install or setup the plugin, so
I have no idea where the problem could come from.
I also didn´t setup the SEF-URL, this was done by the deceased designer.
The Download-list with all downloads works fine,(cms/index.php/downloads). But showing download-categorys
or showing a single download in a "Beitrag" ( sorry, i don´t remember the english denotation, i think it was "story")
leads into a "404 - document not found" page.The PDF i want to share is on the server, at the right place.
**** Addition: The download-icon for single-item-download appears in the "Beitrag" (story), but if you click on it, -> 404.
The name of the category also appears, but if you click on it, -> 404.

This is the link to a page where i added all variants of downloads for testing. Only the link "downloads" works and leads to the list. But if ypu activate the last downlaod-button (not the green one, the next), nothing happens.
I would be really happy if someone has an idea.
