I use Joomla 2.54 whit the last Release of Phoca Download, it works very well for small files until 200 mb, but when download large file i mean 300 to 700 after 30% went in timeout and the download dead...
I see a strange things sometimes when the download went in timeout i put the download in pause after few second i clik on resume and in this case the download finisch without problem.

Could you help me?

hi i have the same problem.
i asked my host and they added a few lines of code to the htaccess file to rename the link into one with "?forcedownload" at the end. However that automatic additon is not working but in general that addition works. I just have to add it manually each time.

Maybe you can add this feature in the next version somehow?
