Hello,
we have a problem with PhocaDownload.
We use joomla 2.5.7 and Phoca Download 2.1.6 and it works verry good but the direct download via the search function does not work.
If we search for something the download will not be started but it will be directed to the category (of this File)

Is this a general problem?

Hi, see similar posts in this forum, default view is a category view and the search links to default view. To link to other views (if used - because not allways are used views like fileview or direct link) needs to be customized in the code

Or how I have to understand it?!
It's too bad that this feature is missed in the acually stable version because in Joomla 1.5 this funktion was given.

For me it's not possible to customize your script/code... can't you do this for me (and all the other guys with this problem)?

Hi, there is option where you can set - the link will link to File View but this is not direct download

Direct Download - if you click on link, the file will be downloaded
File View - if you click the link, the file view of the file will be displayed (in case you have set that Phoca Download displays File View)

Direct Download - File will be directly downloaded
File View - there is a view of file details (name, title, size, etc.)
