Getting UCP - Frontend User Upload Working

Hi,

I am new to Joomla and Phoca Gallery and am trying to get User Control Panel - Frontend User Upload working. I have turned it on from the Options button and can see it in the frontend. I created a Category and tried to up load an Image, but when I click on the Images tab it says, "There is no category where to upload images. First create a category please."

I have looked for documentation that explains step by step how to set this up, but cannot find any.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I tried to attach a screenshot of my setup and what I see in the frontend, but I don't see how to do that.

Hi, you can paste an image per e.g. imageshack, etc.

Thanks for the reply, but I'm afraid I don't understand your reply. The link you said to look at is the document I have read and tried to follow. The screens I see in my implementation are exactly as in the document you sent me except for the Image tab. The image tab on my website shows the following:

There is no category where to upload images. First create a category please.

If your category is created and you cannot upload images then ask administrator:

. if you have permission to upload images into the main category
. if you are owner of the main category
. if the user upload folder os set for your main category

As far as I can tell all those things it states are true, but still no Image tab screen that looks like what is shown in the document.

Could you please provide a little more detailed explanation.
