Instructions for Phoca Download

Hi

I'm a newcomer to Joomla and am trying to add a page where users can download pdf files from our website. I have muddled my way through this to kinda get it working, but I am doing it all by work or fail at the moment, and it's far from being what I'd like it to look like. In fact it's miles away from what I think I can do?

I am certainly not knocking anything that is free, but where can I find a step-by-step guide on how to use the extension properly?

Has anyone got a working webpage with this extension working so I could see it in action, or can someone point me the way of a clear set of instructions?

Hi Benno

Thanks for the really swift answer, and I had seen those, but I will be truly honest, these are not easy to follow instructions. The webpages have too much text, links all over the place with no actual step-by-step guide on how to use it.

Which one is the one you would suggest I'd find the easiest to follow? Please don't think I am being ungreatful, I just can't see any simple instructions.

step 1) Install Phoca Download
step 2) Create a category
step 3) Add a e.g. PDF file to this category
step 4) Create a menu link to Phoca Download Component
