Joomla 3?

Post by hotbari »

I made the mistake of upgrading only to find that phoco download doesn't work now. I see that most other mods have been updated. Any time frame when phoco downloads will work with joomla 3?

Thanks!

Very good. Now that I know it will be soon I will not look for an alternative file download mod.

Hi, thanks for the extension. Can you provide an ETA for the Joomla 3 compatible version? Any rough timeline would be much appreciated. Thank you!!

Hi, no :-( as this depends on many factors:

- count of questions in forum, email, etc. etc. (this all takes my time - https://www.phoca.cz/phoca-needs-your-help/ )
- how the alpha and beta will be checked by users (to possible bugs)
- how very much active will spammers be and DDOS attackers (so this will take my time to protect server)
- how overloaded I will be in my regular work
- how many changes and not backward compatibilites I will find in Joomla! 3 with the overwritten code
- etc. etc.

So really cannot say when, I am overwriting it now but I was overwriting Phoca Gallery since sommer (by Phoca Download it will be faster as I know the Joomla! 3 framework now) but really cannot say :-( :-(

I HOPE, I WILL FINISH IT BEFORE JOOMLA! 3 WILL BE STABLE.
