Phoca Restaurant Pro, issues (display header date,PDF fonts)

Post by jay.cz »

Hi guys,

I was going to write you an email first but I decided to post my questions to forum to help others who will maybe encounter same problems. First of all thanks for this great menu component, it is really nice piece of work. I have encountered some small issues when I started to work with it and maybe it is just a problem between an screen and keyboard ;) I am using Joomla! 2.5.8 Stable [ Ember ]

1) "Displayheaderdate" option in Weekly menu = date (from - to ) in a header is displayed even thought it is disabled in the backend.

2) I am using the PDF function which works with help of Phoca PDF component. The default "Helvetica" font does not support some Czech language files, which can be solved by using other fonts mentioned on Phoca website. However after uploading fonts to the Phoca PDF component, I am not able to set it in Phoca PDF component. The only available option in component settings is Helvetica (There is a select box with this option only). The workaround for this was to edit "Phoca PDF - Restaurant Menu" in Joomla plugin area. There is a normal input box for editing font family. Everything works OK after typing font name manually.

3) Some czech translation strings are missing in translation files -
COM_PHOCAMENU_BATCH_OPTIONS_GROUPS
COM_PHOCAMENU_FIELD_ENABLE_DESC_MULTIPLE_LABEL
COM_PHOCAMENU_FIELD_ENABLE_DESC_MULTIPLE_GROUP_LABEL
COM_PHOCAMENU_SELECT_GROUP_MOVE_COPY

(but that's really not a big deal)

That's all so far :)

Best regards,

Hi,

1) there are two dates in Weekly menu - for whole e.g. week (at the bottom - for example: Monday 13. 5. 2012 - Friday - 17. 5. 2012) and the date for the day in weekly menu e.g. Monday 13. 5. 2012

2) Helvetica means, the font is not includes, so yes you need to use other font which includes chech characters - try to see the download page of Phoca PDF fonts ... the font should be installed in Phoca PDF and then in settings of Phoca PDF Restaurant Menu Plugin you can set the font for header, footer and content

3) thank you for the info, I have added them to the czech translation.

Thank you, Jan
