Hello,
i'm using Joomla 1.5 and I have installed the guestbook successfully. If I try to compose a new message for the guestbook, the new entry won't appear.Does anybody have an idea? In the admin interface I also can't publish the entry because it doesn't exist.

I don't receive any error messages. It seems as if the message is ignored.

Hi, thank you for your site name. There is a bug. I have changed some code because of security fix but it doesn't work on all servers.

Now it is fixed, please download the version 1.1.4 now and update e.g. via FTP

I suppose there is just another bug. I can't change the background color of the message. When I changed the color in the admin interface, nothing happend in the frontend interface. The same is for font color,...
Sometimes when I click on the parameters button I see the admin control panel page in the small window instead of the configuration possibilities for the messages.

If you have created a menu link to your guestbook, you must do all changes in parameters component in menu link, because menu link parameters override the default settings paramters of a component in Joomla!

It was not stupid mistake. It is normal, if you don't know the system, you cannot know that there are two places where you can change the parameters...
