since I updated I now have a problem, it is messing up coding on my pages, making other plugin stop working, I did not want to uninstall it, that made me a bit nevus, good thing I didn't because I went and disabled it, and then EVERY PAGE of my web site, wither it has Phoca coding on it or not, now has this error,
PLG_CONTENT_PHOCADOWNLOAD_PHOCA_DOWNLOAD_ERROR PLG_CONTENT_PHOCADOWNLOAD_PHOCA_DOWNLOAD_NOT_INSTALLED_ON_YOUR_SYSTEM
and the page /article was gone, all you see if the template but the article/page is gone.
Help please
Liz

Hi,
PLG_CONTENT_PHOCADOWNLOAD_PHOCA_DOWNLOAD_ERROR PLG_CONTENT_PHOCADOWNLOAD_PHOCA_DOWNLOAD_NOT_INSTALLED_ON_YOUR_SYSTEM
Normally this errors appear, if you have installed Phoca Download Plugin but not the Phoca Download Component.
(The Plugin seeks the Component, but don't find it)
This can have several reasons.
The component was installed, but disabled.
The Component is not completly installed. (e.g. missing tables)
The Component and the Plugin are not current versions.
Kind regards,
Benno

I updated the Component and that is when all the problems happened, I am afraid to uninstall since when I disabled it, all my pages where replaced with that error message. Any thoughts?

Hi,
1.) If you want to uninstall Phoca Download Component, you should first uninstall Phoca Download Plugin and then Phoca Download Component.
2.) If you don't want to uninstall Phoca Download Component:
Which version of Component & Plugin do you use?
Which joomla! version do you use?
From which version do you try to update Phoca Download Component?
Kind regards,
Benno
