The latest version (zip file) of phoca downloads contains an empty install.sql so database tables will not be generated. There is also an install.bak which contains the SQL queries. I solved the installation problems by generating the database tables manualy with the install.bak
Also the latest version of phoca gallery has the same problem! Did you test the installation...?

Hi, due to specific upgrade options in Phoca Extensions, the install files for Joomla! 2.5 and 1.5 are empty and all is installed in php code.
