How do I allow front-end publishing/unpublishing of documents owned by a user?
I had front-end authorization allowed but when I I uploaded, the file did not get authorized. What am I doing incorrectly?

Hi, this is the feature of authorization - only administrator can authorize uploaded files, in case user can do it, the feature has no sense - you can disable this feature in Options.
