is it possible to define the limit start en end of diffusion where we upload from frontend ?

the title of this posting points to a direction where I am also interested in (and I assume that my description is similar to what remi66 tried to say).

I am currently looking for a functionality with which I can define a date/time-range in which users are allowed to upload file(s).
e.g. Uploading files is allowed from 1st Nov 2013 00:01 hrs to 15th Nov 2013 23:59 hrs only.
i.e. after 15th Nov 23:59hrs either the upload functionality is not longer displayed, or a message is shown, telling the user, that he is not longer allowed to upload a file.

For defining a start date one could simply define when the menu entry for the file upload shall be published (which is not the best solution, but it works). So now only a solution for the end date is missing (which is currently not available for the menu definition).

any idea?

Hi, for now I don't have any experiences with this, but you can try to see the "active" function (the file is published from ... to ...) so maybe such function can be somehow be used for the frontend upload
