I have a 2.5.6 Joomla Site.
I am running version 2.1.9 of the Phoca Download component.
I am running version 2.1.6 of the Plug In (and it is enabled)
Initially, I let the Menu Manager generate a link to my file. This worked fine if I selected it from the Main Menu.
I then copied the link it generated into a Content Article. It does not work properly. I get the message "You have no rights to access this category". In the Administrator back-end, I have set ALL my Phoca Download Categories to be Access - "Public". Nothing is selected in the "Access Rights" listbox.
Here is the URL I am using:
?option=com_phocadownload&view=file&id=175
175 is the correct ID of the file I want to link to in the Content Article.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

Re: How To Link To A File From A Content Article?
Hi, hmmm, really no idea what can be wrong, why the link is not the standard from plugin? This should only happen in case, the category cannot be accessed - try to check again, if the file with ID 175 is in the category which is not accessible or not published
