Right now if you choose image link to be a category view it points you to "mysite.com/component/phocagallery/category/". Would it be possible to set the image link to point to the existing menu item (eg. "gallery"), so the category view would look like "mysite.com/gallery/category/"?

Would be also great if it would open not simple category view, but detail view of this specific image in this category, so you could immediately navigate to other images.

Hi, sorry, I don't understand - if you create a menu link to gallery then all links in component, module or plugin try to find this menu link and create a menu SEF link - just see the demo of the Phoca Gallery. This "component/phocagallery/category" is not correct sef link - check if menu link to Phoca Gallery was correctly created

The gallery menu is published and working - I don't know how else to check if it was correctly created.

if the menu link is active, and SEF is enabled, the menu link url (and other links to the gallery) should be created by Joomla! sef, so this:

component/phocagallery/category is not right SEF link.

Do you use standard Joomla! SEF, set in Global Configuration?

Hi, I see, I cannot find the menu link on the site, is the menu link to gallery e.g. in hidden menu group, etc? (I know it exists - chor.uw.edu.pl/galeria) but so no visible menu on that site? If you paste it to the menu, does it change?

Hey, sorry for the break. By default the gallery is in the separate menu which is published, but not displayed in any module. It's a way to get simple chor.uw.edu.pl/galeria link, while having the alias in one of the main submenus. But as I moved gallery menu to the main visible group: chor.uw.edu.pl/chorzysci/regulamin/galeria, the module published in a sidebar here:
chor.uw.edu.pl/chorzysci/regulamin
still has the weird "component" link. I think it shows, that the hidden (or rather not visible) menu is not the problem here.

menu link to categories view or to category view? The module needs to get the info from menu link to categories view.

That was it! I've changed gallery menu type from category to categories and now it works! Thanks!
