Phoca uninstall

Post by pslane »

I am trying to use Phoca Galllery in my new website as I did in the old one. I'm having trouble getting it to work in Joomla 2.5

I want to completely uninstall it and start over with the loading. I can't find it to uninstall it. I see it in the component list but I need to find out where to uninstall.

Thanks

Hi,
backend --> Extensions --> Extension Manager: Install --> Manage --> Extension Manager: Manage --> Select Type --> Component --> Phoca Gallery --> Uninstall

If you don't find Phoca Gallery there, you need to uninstall it manually.
See this guide: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/16-joomla ... m-manually

Kind regards,

Oh, it's there but loaded improperly. I'm having trouble with a new Joomla 2.5 template and it's not loading any plugins properly. Phoca gallery is showing up in an unusable format.

I guess I'm stuck with it because it wouldn't uninstall and I'm not expert enough to do the manual thing. If I get my loading problem fixed, will it install over the one that's there now?

Thanks.

My same problem was solved by following the methods as Benno said. Hope you can get it right too.
