Installation Issues

When installing Restaurant Menu 3.0.1 it fails to finish and I get a plain white screen. Have tried to install from a number of different machines all with the same issue. I am installing on Joomla 2.5.19 with PHP 5.4.10. I turned on error reporting and have the following error.

Fatal error: Class 'JHtmlSidebar' not found in D:\hshome\nraao1\kathleenscottagenh.com\administrator\components\com_phocamenu\controller.php on line 32

I checked for the PHP files and have the following created:
phocamenu_config
phocamenu_day
phocamenu_email
phocamenu_group
phocamenu_item
phocamenu_list

Any ideas?

Hi, Phoca Restaurant Menu 3 is a Joomla! 3 component. You should install the version 2.

you have installed the wrong version of Phoca Restaurant Menu. This is the right one for your Joomla! version:

My apologies. I purchased Menu Pro yesterday using PayPal and the email account registered with this forum. The files I was sent are 3.0.1 which do not work with the Joomla 2.5.19 that I am using. I am hoping you can email me the correct Menu Pro so I may properly install it on my site.

i purchased Phoca Restaurant Pro version 3.1.0 and upon installation have this error message
Fatal error: Class 'JHtmlSidebar' not found in /home/content/73/12542973/html/administrator/components/com_phocamenu/controller.php on line 33

I am running Joomla! 2.5.28
Any ideas / help appreciated

Hi, the JHtmlSidebar error is mostly presented when e.g. Phoca Extensions (Joomla! 3) is installed in Joomla! 2.5 (or the opposite)
