Can't Install Phoca Downloads

Hi
I'm trying to install Phoca Download in joomla 2.5.6 and I'm not getting. When I try to install sending the file, I get the warning: "JFTP :: mkdir: Bad response";
When I try to install through a folder (tmp / com_phocadownload /), I get this warning: "Please enter a directory for the package", though the directory is correct.
Anyone know or help me solve then install manually?
