single click d/l

I am using the Phoca Tree Module and the file list view (category). Currently, when a user selects a file, a popup appears that contains file information and a download button. Is there a way to bypass that step so that the file opens or saves on the first click rather than having to do 2 clicks to get to the file?

Hi, this is the default feature, see:
https://www.phoca.cz/download/category/4 ... -component
when you click on the download button, it will be directly downloads.

I'm showing the file view, without the download button as it is not the look I'm after. Please see: hanna.ca/2014/2014

So the only way to have a single click download is if the document is inserted into an html editor? There isn't a view that will allow that?

Maybe I still don't understand, in category view, you just do one click for download.

I am trying to use category view. I have pages where there is a menu item and pages where there is a module and neither allows the user to select the file name and begin the d/l. Please have a look at

Hi, did someone customize the Phoca Download on your site? If not, uninstall it and install it again so it will be in default settings, try to disable SEF too, to test if it will work normally. On your site there are features which are not standard Phoca Download features, lik opening some specific lightbox when downloading - so this seems like you are not running standard Phoca Download

Yes, there has been a lot of customization done - too much at times to the detriment of the full features of the components I've used - I have been in touch with them and discovered that if you click the icon, instead of the text, it will open the document directly.
They have offered to disable the ability for the file to be linked. Thank you for your patience with you. Your response time was fantastic!
