Hello, first of all I apologize for my bad English!

I always used PhocaDownload for downloads. But now a client needs to upload/delete into different categories with different levels of access.

Let us assume that:

Joomla access levels:
- Group 1
- Group 2
- Group 3

Categories Phocadownload
- Category 1
- Category 2
- Category 3

Setting in Options -> General -> "Access level registered" the problem was solved.

But now the pattern should be this:

Group 1 -> Category 1,2 and 3
Group 2 -> Category 2
Group 3 -> Category 3

This thing is possible?

Hi, there is always an access rule to category - so if you set some category can be accessed by such group, it will be accessed by this group, does not matter if this is parent category or subcategory but of course, if you have access to subcategory but not to parent category, you cannot access the subcategory per standard tree from parent to sub.

To recap .. so since all parent categories imposed upload/delete to all, access to all '.

Obviously I will have to set in the options of PD "All registered users =??"

- Group 1

PD categories:
- Documents (public access, upload/delete from the group leader)
- Techniques (public access, upload: leader, group 1,2,3 and 4. Delete from the group leader)
- Category of group 1 (public access, upload/delete from the group leader)
- - Proprietary and tests Group1 (access group leader and 1 upload: 1 leader and group, delete the group leader)
- Category of group 2 (public access, upload/delete from the group leader)
- - Proprietary and Group2 evidence (access leader and group 2 upload: leader and group 2, group leader deletion)
- Category group that will contain 3-4 (public access, upload/delete groups: leaders, 3:04)
- - Subcategory group 3 (access leader and group 3, upload/delete groups: leaders and 3)
- - Subcategory group 4 (access leader and group 4, upload/delete groups: leaders and 4)
- - Common Files group 3 and 4 (access leader and group 3 and 4, upload/delete groups: leaders, 3:04)
- Category of the leader (public access, upload/delete leader)
- - Documents (public access, upload/delete)
- - Verbal (leading access, upload/delete leader)
- Parent (public access, upload/delete leader)
- - Parent group 1 (group 1 access leader and parent, upload groups: group1 leader and parent, leader deletion)
- - Parent group 2 (access parent leaders and group 2, upload groups: Group 2 leader and parent, leader deletion)

Hi, for now you can set upload and delete rights only for selected users, not for groups

There are currently 125 users, without counting those who will come .. I can not select each individual user. Also because every year revolve .. Imagine the chaos that I do.

Is programming? If so, when is the update expected? I could do only interact Leaders for a few months.

Hi, it is in feature request list - to add the groups too (see similar posts in this forum where it is explained why it is not so easy - memory issues because of conflicting different user and groups rights, etc.) For now I really cannot say when I will find to look at it.
